Maura Gilday

Hi I’m Maura and I’m a second year at SDSU! I’m from Portland, Oregon and I am passionate about learning Spanish. I started this club last year because I wanted to practice my Spanish in a welcoming environment outside the classroom, and when I realized SDSU didn’t have a Spanish Club, I decided to seize the opportunity! I’m majoring in International Business with an emphasis in Spanish and I am planning on studying abroad Spring 2025 somewhere in Latin America. My goal this year is to spread more awareness about SLS and grow our member base! Some of my hobbies include hiking and exploring San Diego. I can’t wait to meet new people and continue practicing Spanish!

For fun, Lucca enjoys reading, surfing, hiking, and camping. Her favorite place to be is at the beach.
